The Chair for Socially Responsible Digital Innovation (SoReDI) is pleased to invite you to the opening event of the course, featuring a screening of the documentary Molly vs. the Machines, at Auditorium, Esade Sant Cugat Campus (Graduate Building - Ed8), Avinguda de la Torre Blanca 59.
The documentary addresses some of the central issues of the current debate on technology, society and digital responsibility: platform design, attention-based interaction models, impact on users and governance challenges associated with technological innovation. The documentary, advised by Shoshana Zuboff and Carissa Véliz, will serve as a starting point for a conversation on how to promote a socially responsible digital innovation, capable of integrating ethical criteria, academic evidence and institutional responsibility.
The session will feature the participation of Marc Silver, director of the documentary, and Liliana Arroyo, director of the Chair for Socially Responsible Digital Innovation (Esade). The event will include the institutional opening of Lisa Hehenberger, dean of Esade Business School.
